The host was super friendly. We accidently booked a room one month too early, but the owner managed to solve the problem when we arrived a month later. What a great service. And what a great location too, next to the Route 1 but with nice views over the Icelandic nature. The library room feels like coming from an old movie! This was perfect for an overnight stay during exploring Iceland.

Hotel located near the famous Glacier Lagoon, 8 mins drive. Room size is good, parking outside guesthouse is terrible, no parking space just random parking with van and buses. We arrive in a rainy day, so it is very unpleasant, we need to collect the key from counter and bring all our stuff to the room thur the back door. This is a guesthouse and not hotel so we have no surprise. Restaurant is basic with school type of bench and few tables for dinner and breakfast. Breakfast is basic with porridge and bread, milk etc. and cost is generally high in Iceland. In general, you expect it is a guesthouse and no additional facility. Of curse the rate is high and you have no choice in this region.
Breakfast is basic and expensive costs ISK3000/pax. Parking is awful in front of the guesthouse. Bathroom is dark and water pressure is low. Remind you that this is a guesthouse
