Great place to stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and relaxing after a long day of traveling. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was great. Perfect location, about 30 minutes from Jökulsárlón. Would definitely stay here again!

Our room at Hotel Smyrlabjörg was clean and well-appointed. We enjoyed a nice dinner in the hotel dining room and a great breakfast buffet (included in the stay). It was very convenient (next-door) to the Glacier Journey snowmobile tour on the Vatnajökull glacier.

Location was great for us for the glacier.
It was dated and needing a lot of money spending on it. Bathroom heater none existent.
