Beautiful and quiet room (very quiet). Loved that everything was built like a traditional Sod house. The farm setting with animals was perfect with beautiful views of the Highlands. Lots of great farm animals: reindeer, arctic fox, sheep, goats, pigs. The staff was very attentive, and the food was exceptional.

Adorable set up all round. We were in the hotel and it was great. Common area was clean and spacious. Room was comfortable and clean.
Included breakfast was a surprise- delicious.
There is no kitchen in the hotel. Apparently this is a booking.can m error. They allowed us and another family to walk across to the adjacent guesthouse and use their kitchen though so it worked out.
No blackout curtains:blinds - unhelpful. Also the smoke alarm strobed a bright white light all night!

The staff was friendly, great location, we did enjoy the dinner at the restaurant and the surrounding is beautiful.
I missed hot water & higher water pressure in the shower.

Location, size of the room, all the animals around
There was no garbage bin in the room, and it wasn’t possible to turn off the heating or open the window more than a small gap, so the room became uncomfortably warm. There was also quite a lot of sheep droppings right outside the building, making it easy to step in them, especially when carrying luggage.
