Our stay at Friheden on the beautiful and cozy island of Bornholm was truly exceptional. This hotel is a real gem on the Bornholm coast, offering the perfect setting for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the Danish way of living and experience true hygge, tranquility, and stunning natural surroundings.
The facilities are excellent, well-maintained, and very inviting. The restaurant deserves special praise as well—the food was absolutely delicious and prepared to a high standard.
What stood out the most, however, was the outstanding treatment and professionalism of the staff. Every service was delivered in the best possible way, with warmth, care, and attention to detail.
A special thank you to our waiter, Mr. Brian, whose excellent professionalism was matched by his wonderful sense of humor. He made every dining experience even more enjoyable. We would also like to mention Sally, who served breakfast in the canteen and was exceptionally kind, pleasant, and welcoming each morning.
We highly recommend Friheden to anyone seeking relaxation, beautiful nature, warm hospitality, and an authentic taste of Danish charm.

bfast was good, balcony with direct seaview was really appreciated.. dinner choices were good with good prices, parking spots were free
the room could have been cleaner, some dusts and spiderweb were spotted in the bedroom area

Location with great view, sandy beach, walking distance to Tejn and Allinge.
Price vs value.
Breakfast buffet could be a little larger. I missed fried eggs, bacon, smoked fish, and organic choices.

Fantastic location, great service, great and friendly staff, clean, everything available, nice swimming pool, sauna, good food for breakfast and dinner. I really recommend this hotel. 👌
