It's my third time in Eastbourne and my second time staying with Nick and his family. Next time I'll stay with them again.
The B&B is so close to the beach that you can hear the waves and it's close to the pier and small stores, which is super convenient.
Nick is always happy to help. I had a problem with the shower because the boiler was too high up, and I'm short. He came up right away, and we found a solution. The breakfast was also homemade and fresh when you came downstairs. What I really loved was that they were allergy-aware without making a fuss, which made me feel like a normal guest.

Enjoyed the breakfast and homely feel of the accommodation. The host was welcoming and friendly. Great location for transport and the beach.

Nick is the perfect host and will do anything he can to make sure your stay is enjoyable. The hotel is just off the Eastbourne beach pathway and an easy 10 minute walk from the center. It is outside the pay parking area so street parking is free. Breakfast is great and their are plenty of restaurants/takeaways nearby for dinner. Just tell Nick your interests and he will offer a useful suggestion of how to spend your day.
Be aware it takes a few minutes for the hot water to reach the rooms on the top floor. Be patient, it does arrive eventually.
As most locals know that the parking is free here they use it also. So finding a free spot is not guaranteed, but I got one each evening close by.

Staff were very nice and warm. The property's location was excellent, situated a stones throw away from the beach and a 15 minute walk into the main town
The beds were extremely uncomfortable. My bed springs were completely gone, to the point that I sunk into the middle of the mattress. There were no fans in the room, despite it being 30 degree weather. The cooked breakfast was not very good (mainly the eggs) and some of the showers had very little pressure. For the price we paid, we would have expected much more
