Very nice property with good potential in lovely surroundings, wonderful swimming pool and sauna area. Good breakfast buffet.
Waking up in the morning by outside noise from delivery trucks. To many wasps around the breakfast buffet. The restaurant and food service area needs to be cleaned and hygiene improved. It appeared to us that the hotel is operated by trainees and temporary workers.

The value for money is exceptional, in a historic building that still has the grandeur of yesteryear. With a nice pool, superb breakfast, spacy room and friendly staff.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Fürstenhof Bad Bertrich. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, speaking both German and English fluently. Our room was clean, quiet, and featured a very comfortable bed. The breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh options, and after a day of exploring the surrounding area and the Mosel region, the swimming pool and spa were the perfect place to relax. Cochem, for example, is only about a 35-minute drive away.
We had read several reviews mentioning the parking situation, but in our experience, it was not an issue at all. Just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel there is a safe, convenient, and inexpensive public car park. The hotel can arrange a multi-day parking ticket, which makes the process very easy. A special thanks to the manager for helping us with this. It is also possible to briefly stop in front of the hotel to load or unload luggage.
The hotel itself consistes of charming Belle Époque buildings and is an excellent choice for travellers seeking peace and tranquillity. It is particularly well suited for guests arriving by car who want to hike in the surroundings or explore the Mosel Valley and the Volcanic Eifel region. There are also several beautiful hiking trails that start directly from Bad Bertrich.
This is a classy, elegant hotel that caters to guests looking for a relaxing getaway. If you’re looking for a lively nightlife or a hotel bar that stays busy late into the evening, you may be happier choosing a different place to stay. For us this was just perfect as we were seeking tranquillity and after breakfast we always did day trips often eating outside the hotel.
I can't think of anything. We loved it and wanted even to extend our stay with one more day but the hotel was completely booked. Not a surprise, and they totally deserve it.
