The hotel is very central and just a short walk away from the centre, for shops, restaurants and bars. Breakfast was good with plenty to choose from. Rooms were a reasonable size and kept clean by housekeeping.
Our room was very hot, which unfortunately the air conditioning was not able to get cool.

Returned to Heraklion for 2 nights and chose to stay here as we knew it. Parking is arranged in a covered garage a few minutes walk away which is useful. Chose a "sea view" room as we knew traffic noise can be an issue and this gives a 4th floor room. The hotel is on a roundabout with lots of local traffic .Room was fine and beds comfortable. Breakfast quite good. Staff positive and helpful. Window sound proofing ok. Hotel was quiet as in April. Did not eat dinner in the otherwise nice 5th floor restaurant as totally empty. A pleasant place for a drink however looking over the city walls and city. We walked into town centre easily in 20mins and enjoyed walking up on to the city walls which have a nice walk way on top with info panels. It is also a reasonable price.
There is no furniture at all on the balcony which would have been useful for a short sit out there though the traffic would drive you in. Also no chairs in the room only one stool so that is inadequate. They have twin rooms but getting one is a mission as although you can request one on booking they will not guarantee it and write to tell you this, so you could easily arrive and find you do not have one. I don't think they pay attention to the requests either as we arrived to find the room was a double and went down to ask to swap which we could do as hotel was quiet. Other hotels are prepared to assign a twin so I find this an unhelpful system.

The only thing which I liked was only the multi options of breakfast
No air conditioning in the summer ?? This is joke
As well the bed , the mattress was totally horrible, you was lining and the bed was making like a hole in a middle because was too much soft .
