It was a little out of the way from the town centre so we always had to Uber which cost between £22-£30, because there were 5 of us. But there was a chemist, a very nice take away, and an absolutely stunning Bakehouse ‘Mimis’, just across the street!
The duvets on the beds were very small and didnt come down the sides of bed, so when 2 in a double bed, it was too narrow, so 1 person was waking during the night with cold shoulders! But the white bedlinen was immaculate. Curtains definitely could have been doing with more hooks!

Excellent cooked vegetarian breakfast (the meat ones looked good too) and proper fresh filter coffee - I would stay again just for this! There was other buffet stuff like fruit etc to help yourself to. Tea and coffee making in the room. Everything looked clean and the bathroom and room was a good size. It is very good for transport links esp to the airport, as the airlink shuttle is just outside on the main road, and it is really fine for short stays.
Basic facilities, lots of stairs and winding staircases, so beware of this if you have lots of luggage or maybe ask for a ground-floor room if so. None of the lights in the room worked except the big light in the room (they may not have noticed unless people pointed it out, I guess).

Near bus stop and location good for Royal Highland Show, room spacious, secure hotel, white bed sheets and bathroom clean.
Very tired decor, no bar for a refreshment, foosty smelling top covers on bed and pillows, room very basic not homely. It was just a place to sleep for Royal Highland Show. Overpriced
