Hi Iain and Dot , thank you so much for a lovely stay, we were looking for you but didn't see you when we left. You have a beautiful guess house ,great location nice and quiet, lovely breakfast, gorgeous room, we will definitely be back again. We didn't get to see the silver horses!! You are amazing hosts !! Perfect location to get into the city with excellent bus service. Great friendly people, nothing too much trouble. Highly recommend.
A lighter quilt would be nice during the summer maybe. Was very hot!!

Room was good size, nicely decorated in a neo-colonial style. Modern but refreshingly NOT grey colour scheme, which was quite relaxing. Little balcony with table and chairs was a neat addittion. They have put a lot of effort in which paid off for me. Transport to City Centre and Airport very easy 3/4 buses from stops just across the road by the Zoo.
Coffee bags didn't work - good coffee is always welcome - Nespresso? Parking was difficult - OK it's Edinburgh - it's free but rare - can't be helped but be warned. Value for money is difficult these days - but this is very competitive. The coffee would confirm it!

The stay has been fantastic. The host treated us wonderfully throughout our stay. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood close to the city center. The room was very comfortable with all amenities. Thanks for everything Liam (The perfect irishman)

We had a lovely 3 night stay. Iain and Dot were lovely hosts, and the breakfasts were fantastic. Would definitely stay there again. The parking around was ample and we were lucky enough to be able to use the space behind the property. We selected the room with a balcony which was a lovely addition.
Above the balcony door there is a small section of window that doesn't have a blind and the curtains don't cover that section so the room was a little too bright during the evening. This didn't bother my partner at all and I solved it by spending £3 on an eye mask!

Iain and Dot were just the loveliest hosts! They made the stay 100% worth it and the accomodation, breakfast etc. was everything we expected and more. Thank you again!
One tiny thing- the pillows were a little too thin/uncomfortable but that is probably down to personal preference!

Breakfast was lovely. Host were pleasant and very helpful. Plenty of free parking at door. Straight across from Zoo. 10 min bus ride into city centre.

Really good location away from the hustle and bustle of the city and with a bus stop just outside , only a 20 minute journey to town . we bought day riders , 4.50 each , we took the bus to Seaton sands for one day of our trip which was lovely .

Due to covid 19 we were unable to have breakfast in the dining room, so therefore it was delivered outside the room, we felt the breakfast was poor, we fully understand the situation, but a little more thought could have gone into the breakfast. Very poor value
