Easy bus transfer to the city centre. Comfortable and inexpensive in comparison to other accommodation at the time.

Kitchen fairly well-equipped.
Location on well-served bus routes (20 mins to city centre), near supermarket and sea-swimming spots.
Top floor was very warm - it was a heatwave but there was no air-con and the windows only opened a few cm. The bed was a very small double, so we had to sleep head-to-toe. Had to take two cold showers to cool down enough to sleep!
No lift.
No early check-in option.

The accommodation itself was as expect; dorm style room with an ensuite bathroom.
The reception staff were knowledgeable and friendly.
Unlike similar accommodation we weren't given soap, coffee or snacks furthermore kettles were only available in the communal kitchen not the bedroom.
We couldn't find any magazines regarding The Fringe festival which was the main reason for our visit.
