Room was a reasonable size that allowed 2 full suitcases easily. Santana is well located to St Paul's Bay with good parking and easy accessto other parts of Malta. Included breakfast was filling and good tasting.
When we arrived we were given a ground floor Comfort room - it states city view, which is not 100% correct - we certainly could see across the street into apartments, however people walking past could look into our room so we had to have curtains most of the time closed. I asked to move off ground floor and answer was no rooms available so stay where you are - come back on checkout morning, which we did. We really liked higher floor apartments as we have in the past. On departure day I requested an extra hour (done with other hotels with no issues) and advised it would be 20 euro. Pool deck rennovation is very good with three different pool options.

The friendliness of the staff including Anish, Zoretta and Mo
The hotel needs the planned refurb as the outdoor areas are looking tatty...also not allowing guests to take their own water to the pool area seems very petty and money grabbing

Really poor management and attitude to guests
We had aircon leaks on the floor for 5/7 days without resolution
We had a leaking shower without resolution
When we booked the hotel it included a gym in the facility on the 7 th floor but when we arrived it was not open or finished I booked the hotel knowing I would be recovering from a hip operation and in the middle of a rehab regime, I could not exercise daily. There was no warning that this facility would not be open prior to my arrival
We were awoken most mornings at 0730 by drilling and sanding noises from works on floor 7.

I use booking. Com a lot if this isn’t resolved I will be taking this further
