A beautiful, big room with a great see view. The design is modern, but also functional. Good lighting which I often find problematic in many hotels, but not here. Very good breakfast and dinner. Staff very nice and helped right away with all the requests that we had. Nice gym. The hotel will be my choice for the next stay on Kos.
You have to pay for the beach beds. It would be nice to get a bottle of water at least on arrival.

We had a wonderful stay at Horizon Beach Resort and were more than satisfied with our experience. The resort facilities and amenities are top-notch, and the grounds and outdoors are beautifully maintained with lush gardens. The dining options were varied and delicious, and there was plenty of great entertainment to keep the kids happy throughout the day. A special highlight was the body massage therapist—absolutely fantastic experience! Highly recommend for a relaxing family holiday.
Mosquitoes can be quite active in the evening/night, so make sure to pack some bug spray. Also, the beach area can get fairly windy at times, but that's typical for this side of the island.

Well organized, multiple pools, good food, really nice personnel.
The hotel is on the north side of the island, which means you get a constant wind that is making the time on the beach very uncomfortable. Also the sea was not clear at all, i couldn’t see my feet when swimming. We had to drive daily to the south part of the island to enjoy a beach with proper clear water and not so much wind.

The hotel is pretty, the pools and beach are nice. Restaurant staff was a lot nicer than everyone else at the hotel.
Most of the staff wasn't very friendly.
When you use a beach chair someone will come and ask for money (and they were also kind of rude) so be aware.
You can't drink tap water and yet, no water bottle offered or in the room.
You can hear everything inside the room so forget sleeping after 7AM.
At 8AM I had someone pounding on my door for 5 minutes until I opened it - it's a cleaning lady that laughs and says ah sorry it said here the room was supposed to be empty. Even though I had the check out on that day it was only at 11AM, unbelievable that they would go pound on the door especially repeatedly after realizing the door is locked and someone is clearly using the room.
