The resort has changed a lot since our last visit (two years ago). There's construction going on everywhere, and where there used to be water sports, gorgeous water, and white sand, there are excavators driving around. You can't even go into the water near the Tropicana bar—there's coral and ocean trash everywhere, and no one cleans it up.
The entire staff was taught to place their hand over their heart (as if they were happy to see you from the bottom of their hearts), but that's not true. The counter staff are completely clueless and don't solve anything or help. And if you want to solve a problem, you should only communicate with the manager of that department. We had an assistant, Nihada, we saw her once when we arrived and that was it. When I tried to find her, she always made excuses (she was sick, busy, on a day off). I haven't seen her for three weeks.
