The location and the view to the ocean is just breathtaking
Old dated furniture but The property seems to be on renovation, so I hope they do a good job as that place deserves better

Pool was great, one staff member (Abdellah) was especially accommodating and attended to our every need, room was cleaned nicely every day, comfy bed, great balcony, very easy to get taxis to and from centre
Only 1 lift works, 1 of 4 restaurant options is open and the menu is not good, staff are very slow (expect for Abdellah), spa most closed, lots of construction but didn’t really impact us. I would not advise that you stay here as an all inclusive as there is not enough options to actually get value out of it, but as b&b it’s a great place to stay.

The diner was awful and I can not imagine how the chef cuisine allow such food to be délivred to clients in 5 stars hotel. I ordered saint pierre and it was uneatble and confirmed to the kitchen staff and they were ashamed!

Essaouira is a beautiful destination with plenty of good places to stay
I stayed at this hotel in Essaouira and unfortunately left disappointed, mainly due to the poor cleanliness and upkeep — and even more so by how my complaint was handled.
The room was not properly cleaned on arrival. There were visible cracks across the floor, holes in the ceiling, dirty bedside lamps, and several squashed mosquitoes left on the walls and curtains — clearly not addressed before check-in. The restaurant was also a letdown, with food and service well below a reasonable standard.
What disappointed me most was the response when I raised these issues. Rather than acknowledging them, the hotel disputed my complaint outright. In the end, only a tiny fraction of the stay was refunded through Booking — a token gesture that didn’t come close to reflecting the state of the room or the experience overall.
Essaouira is a beautiful destination with plenty of good places to stay, but I couldn’t recommend this one. Genuine problems were met with denial rather than accountability, and that left the worst impression of all.
