Location
Gate wouldn’t automatically open when I arrive at the hotel, had to call the reception desk each time. There should be a way to tap the room key card for the gate to open. Otherwise an absolutely excellent hotel!!

Panorama as a whole is a very nice hotel, wonderfully located, with kind staff and nice amenities. In fact, we have re-visited Panorama this year, which is a recommendation itself.
The breakfasts are very good, perhaps a bit repetitive but big thumbs up for artisanal, crispy bread and truly local cheeses available as a bonus to the more common, supermarket-style bread and cheese. The kids loved the sweet options, too. (Note: vegans would have a rather limited choice).
As adults, we liked the small but sufficient sauna center. Parking is convenient and easily accessed.
Having said all the above, our last year's trip was for a couple - this time around we came over as a family, booking a 6-people apartment one year ahead (!). But the stay was not as pleasant. Here is what you may want to know:
1) Apartments for more than 4 people are apparently very limited, and all located on low floors. Think 2-3 out of 12. Our room was #303.
2) The mountain view indicated on Booking is true, but you will be admiring Nizne Tatry in the distance, not the majestic peaks of Vysoke Tatry next to your high-floor room. If you are drawn to THAT view, make sure to double check your room choice. My bad for not enlarging pics while making that one-year-ahead reservation 🙄.
2) The mountain view would still be lovely, to be honest... if not for the heat-protective film covering ALL windows. It was damaged, with quite a few tears/scratches, it also altered the view of the mountains making them look hazy and unattractive. See for yourself on the pic attached. I think the film itself is not the problem, it's the damage which did not happen overnight.
Nobody informed us ahead of our trip about this, and no compensation was suggested or provided for the disappointing view.
3) We came with 5 people though the booking was made for 6. The room had 6 sets of linen and pillows (correct) but dishes were provided only for four. Same with balcony chairs and dining table chairs - four of them in each case. I had to point this out to the staff. While more dishes, cutlery sets and balcony chairs were provided, the dining table chairs never arrived. I forgot to mention them, so it never happened.
4) While I appreciate a free minibar of soft drinks offered on a daily basis, it's also meh if it's 4 items/day with more than 4 guests in the room.
