The hotel is in a beautiful location, very close to Štrbské Pleso lake. The spa and massage were excellent, the dinner was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
However, the rooms are quite old and extremely dark. Even in the morning, we felt the need to turn on a lamp because there was so little natural light. The mattress and pillows were also uncomfortable, which made sleeping less pleasant. The toilet did not flush properly, and the room cleaning was not very thorough. The breakfast was exactly the same every day, which became a bit repetitive

Wow! Amazing value for the price. Area is absolutely beautiful. Hotel is gorgeous. I visited it in summer but I can only imagine in winter it must be like waking up inside some fairytale.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the dinner we had was quite enjoyable.
I would rate the price-to-service ratio as below expectations. The breakfast was disappointing, with very few vegetarian options and a selection of low-quality, dried cakes and cheap donuts. Additionally, there was excessive use of disposable packaging, which felt unnecessary. I also found it inconvenient that there were no tea or coffee facilities in the room.
The hotel charges 35 euros per night for a dog, which seemed a bit high considering the overall experience. While the hotel has the appearance of a luxury property, the surroundings do not match this standard at all. Furthermore, I was surprised to find that the hotel lacked basic medical equipment for minor injuries, leaving guests to go to a nearby pharmacy for assistance.
