The hotel is all in wood and gives a feel of tranquility. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a good sized balcony directly overlooking the beautiful lake. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Tony at concierge. He was always there to help us with travel plans, transport logistics and anything else we needed. He went over and above his call of duty.

We loved the balcony overlooking the lake; it was so relaxing to sit and watch all the activity with people coming in and out on the boats.

Staff very friendly and great location
Floor had stains all over the carpet in the bedroom. Needs a steam clean. The bed sheets were stained with something, (possibly dried old blood) it was black outline, so it had been washed, but not soaked. As we got there late and went out to explore straight away, we didn’t notice until we came back that night. Ended up sleeping on spare towels in the bed. Guest staying next door was screaming at someone very loudly over the phone and the sound travelled through the cedar walls. Tried to call front desk but was very lost in translation. His yelling continued all through the night and started again around 7am. Was a terrible night sleep. The couches in the room had stains on them and it really just needs a good clean. As water is not drinkable, a second bottle of water or water refill station on each floor would have been a Good idea. The dining hall is dated and the floors in there have not had a good clean in a long time it seems. So many stains and spills and it just feels like it’s been forgotten about.
