The room was very clean and the bedding and towels were absolutely spotless. The location was very good. The staff were very informative and helpful. The hotel provides nightly entertainment. We were well catered for at breakfast which was of a very high standard. We had three very peaceful nights sleep.
We were unable to keep the bedroom window open as it is a sash window and kept closing, the shower is an over the bath shower attached to the bath taps and proved difficult to regulate to a safe temperature, we couldn't run a bath as we couldn't operate the diverter lever to allow the water to flow from the taps.

Great location in a lovely part of town, close to restaurants, the cinema, and everything we needed. The hotel was very clean. It is a little dated, but that didn’t bother us at all.
The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious, and we also really enjoyed having the bar and evening entertainment available.
We had a very enjoyable stay and would happily come back. Highly recommended!

Location and helpful staff
It was very old, very small room feeling confined and the layout of the hotel itself is confusing. Not a modern hotel.
