Easy to find and easy to check in. Fridge in room is always helpful in hot weather. The maxi bath tub in the garden refreshed us. Parking spot at property behind fence. Fast reacting host.

Very friendly hosts. Perfect communication. WiFi was functioning very good. Marvelous garden where we had our breakfast.

The place was in a lovely location and the hosts were super friendly and helpful. Very relaxing environment.

The room did not have an AC in it and during the hot summer day it was super hot, also the pillows could be upgraded as they are not comfortable. Definitely advice to come with a car as the city is 4km away from the place.

Warm welcome, pleasant dealings, clean environment, more then we expected

Room was clean and nicely decorated. Upon request, we checked in earlier than the official check in time, which was appreciated. We also got to park our motorcycle safely inside the yard and received an extra pillow for our little dog to sit on, which was pretty nice. We were also offered the possibility to be served a vegan breakfast, but we preferred to organize ourselves for that.

Location is somewhat far from the town center, so means of transportation would be a must to get there. Furthermore, we just didn't get that welcome feeling on arrival. We were briefly informed about what there's to visit in Lucca and given a map of the town and the key to the room and asked for our passports, which all seemed in a bit of a rush to get it over with. We could understand the situation is pretty tough with a baby to take care of and a business to run at the same time, but this rush shouldn't be felt by the guests who choose to stay there. There was no mention of checking out the next day earlier than the time on Booking.com, which was 11. However, the next day at 10:33 the owner knocked on the room door to inform us that the check out limit was actually at 10:30 and we need to clear the room. We were almost ready and tried to hurry our departure, but that added to the feeling that this is only a business and some small detail of this kind can have an influence on one's impression. Maybe it's only an opinion built by comparison to other properties across Italy where we stayed during the same holiday and for others these details are just not that relevant, but the've been mentioned for the purpose of improvement.

The room is well equipped, and has a very nice view. The owner is the kindest man! He gave me a ride after my stay when I needed it! He was cheerful and spooky the hole time! I strongly recommend it!

We had an amazing stay at Dolce Sosta. Maria and her husband were friendly and helpful with everything. The room was very clean and comfortable. I definitely recommend staying here
