This is a nice room high up in an old building, looking away from the central area - so quiet and witha. Pleasant view over the rooftops. The room is a good size, with good bed and bathroom. The steps are steep but if you dont mind then this could be a good place to spend some time in Lucca.

Best possible location for Lucca, just a 50 yard walk from the main square. The room was very nicely done out and extremely spacious, with a brilliant city view out the window.
The host could have been more understanding when I needed help with certain things during my stay. Other than this, staff at the property were very kind and accommodating

The communication with the owners was great and they allowed me to leave my bags at their restaurant until I left Lucca.
I had a bit of trouble finding the entrance door at first despite great instructions (my GPS) and lugging my baggage up the stairs was tough!
I didn’t have a view of the piazza which was disappointing.
The room when I arrived was quite cold and the split system to heat it was very, very loud.
The room however was spotlessly clean which I appreciate.
The water pump every time any water was used was very loud also, and the sound from the piazza too. I wore ear plugs and then I had a great sleep!
Distance from the parking and the stairs. I simply wasn’t prepared to cart my luggage so far so this was my fault for not preparing the trip better.
