A complimentary bottle of wine welcomes you to this historic 1850's barn, originally a working dairy farm, now beautifully remodeled into a clean &cozy 3 bedroom/1 1/2 bath "Barn-dominium in the heart of Western New York's wine country. Open floor plan with soaring 20' ceiling. Fully equipped modern kitchen with granite countertops and keurig coffeemaker. Sleeps 9 comfortably-3 bedrooms and a full bath upstairs and half bath downstairs.Brand new sleeper sofa downstairs. Wifi,cable TV, A/C.....everything you need for a comfortable,relaxing stay. Peaceful, quiet setting with Lillacs and black eyed Susan's in the yard and fragrant vineyards across the street. Located directly on the Lake Erie Wine Trail.with dozens of excellent wineries,breweries,and craft distilleries in either direction. For a small extra charge , your gracious hosts will be your designated drivers for custom Winery/brewery tours in their spacious Surburban! Easy access to Lake Erie just a little more than a mile away for long walks on the beach, prime sea-glass hunting, and amazing sunsets over the lake. 5 minutes to Barcelona's beaches, picturesque historic 1820's stone lighthouse, and public marina with boat/kayak launch. More to explore in the quaint & vibrant village of Westfield, with fine restaurants, antique shops, art galleries, award winning Farmer's Market , fascinating Historical Society museum and historic library. Within a few miles are golf courses, horseback riding, hiking in Chautauqua Gorge, and world renowned fishing in 4 nearby lakes- steelhead, Muskie, perch , bass, Walleye and more. Skiing and snowmobiling in the winter. The famous Chautauqua institution is a 15 minute drive for lectures , plays, symphony, movies, and first rate concerts like Yo Yo MA and Steve Martin. Erie, Buffalo, and Niagara Falls are fun day trips. Westfield is an easy 2.5 hours from Pittsburgh, 2 hours from Cleveland or Rochester. Pets ok with $25/night fee. We have recently enlarged the patio and have a fire pit with firewood provided. Also recently added a children’s playground on site and currently installing pickle ball courts!

We had a very nice weekend here. The owners were accommodating and went out of their way to make sure we had a nice stay! The kitchen was well stocked, there were plenty of extra blankets, toiletries and other supplies were all there, including firewood for a nice evening around the firepit. We also enjoyed the pickleball court! It was cozy, comfortable, and located close to the cute town of Westfield, nice little places to eat, and near fishing streams for the guys. Something for everyone!

The house was absolutely fantastic! Everything you need for a comfortable, cozy weekend getaway. We especially loved the firepit area. The hosts were very nice and very helpful; and the dogs were a perfect added bonus.

The owners Jim and Darlene were wonderful and had great advice as to where to dine and what places to visit. They responded quickly when we had a question.
The “barndominion” was just as pictured. Very welcoming and comfortable. The property and had a beautiful pond and gazebo. Being able to bring our fur babies was a plus. What a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay so much! It was very quiet and peaceful with a gorgeous view of the vineyards and hills just across the street. The property owners were very nice and helpful! It was very comfortable and looked even nicer in person than in the photos!

Wonderful place to stay. The hosts were very friendly and informative. Secluded, yet just a short drive to everything. We are 3 ladies in our 60's. This vacation home was ideal for our age (or any age). We enjoyed the patio with fire ring and were not bothered by mosquitos. You can't go wrong with this vacation rental. We highly recommend it.

Great area close to everything. Property had a pond, Gazebo with table top fire, walking trails, fire pit directly outside of unit. They also had pickle ball if you enjoy playing. The wineries and beaches were awesome. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. Property was also pet friendly.

The barn was a unique place to stay and me and my wife thoroughly enjoyed it! Great location, not far from downtown Erie and even closer to all the wineries. The hosts were extremely nice and had a lot of great tips for places to check out while staying. We will certainly be staying here again if it is available!

We enjoyed our stay. The property was very nice, clean and had access to a big yard and they extend usage to adjacent property where there is a pond and a gazebo. The only complaint we had was we love to play games in the evening and the high-top table was hard for us to use so we made do with the coffee table. Trust me not a deal breaker. If you are choosing properties and are worried about the traffic I must say you cannot hear it. We all live in the country and are not used to it but we could not even hear it.

This is our second time staying with at Jim and Darlene's Barn-dominion. Great time as last time. We heard that the previous group departed much later than the checkout time and the cleaning crew could not finish completely before our arrival. Both Jim and Darlene wanted to know how clean the barn was and if we were happy. Honestly the place was clean and very happy. They are both very gracious hosts. We will always stay with them when we go to see the kids and grandkids.

The hosts are so nice. Before we arrived we got suggestions on local wineries and places to eat. The Barndominium was great. Cute patio off the front with a grill and firepit. Loved the owners’ dogs. They were super cute and friendly.
Nice to have a full kitchen available. Location is perfect if you are doing a winery tour. We can’t wait to come stay again.

The property was lovely and our hosts very welcoming. Our pup Murphy first time traveling with us and loved it also. Clean and upkept inside and out. I would recommend using the second air unit offered by Darlene and Jim if vacationing in the hotter summer months. Also the history in all the surrounding towns is very interesting and beautiful. The lakeside areas and wineries are very enjoyable.

The 4 of us went to Westfield to take in some local wineries and breweries. We had a great time. The place we stayed in was just perfect for the 4 of us. The owners were so welcoming and gave us great advice on wineries to visit. They were so nice to talk to also. And the renovated barn was perfect and a great location!
