Exceptional location in a lively local area of Avignon, very close to central attractions. It’s an old building in an unremarkable narrow street, but has its own private hidden historic garden which guests can use and breakfast in. The host is extremely helpful and keen to share information about local historic sites and other Avignon experiences. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and interestingly decorated and overlooked the lovely quiet garden.
The stairs are a bit steep & narrow for less agile guests and a better iron would have been good. Self-serve breakfast from the kitchen was just what we wanted but we would have enjoyed better fruit offerings.

The hosts were exceptional…very welcoming and full of helpful tips for our stay in the area. The breakfast and garden setting were amazing. Our room was comfortable and attractively decorated.

We were welcomed into their home as guests, and departed 4 days later like good friends. Welcoming and personable, they provided reviews of many restaurants and what to see and do in the area. They assisted with hiring a local guide specializing in Provence, and always had time for us before, and during our stay to ensure our time was memorable.

We stayed for two days and one night, enjoying wine during the day and breakfast the following morning in the beautiful, charming garden. The owners were exceptionally pleasant, attentive, and detail-oriented.
Their historic property is centrally located, beautifully maintained, and well cared for. The restaurant they recommended and booked for us was outstanding. Our room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and sparkling clean. The garden pool was a wonderful bonus after a hot day of exploring.
