We had a view of the Popes Palace from our bedroom windowsill. The windows were double with a 6 inch sill between them, so ho noise from the outside Palace courtyard or the church bell. Large room with a sitting area as well as a king size bed, huge bathroom with a walk in shower and towel warmers.
Breakfast buffet was good but warmers were not working for hot foods. However kitchen was more than happy to warm plates in microwave.

The hotel does what it says because you can see the Palace of the Popes from the room window, a remarkable site. And it's only 20 metres from the other main square which has plenty of bars and brasseries. And the food and the service in the restaurant were both excellent, too.

Location and history.
Quite noisy- mostly due to the American guests.
