We booked this accommodation as an interim stop on our way north from Arugam Bay; an Eco village with a large hut to accommodate two families seemed ideal. What wasn't made clear in the description was all beds were essentially in the same room and there were no fans or air conditioning in the accommodation. The host was easy to work with and enabled us to move into a hut with separate bedrooms and A/C. Despite this, what made our trip truly memorable was a post-breakfast eco adventure, on the back of a tractor-pulled card, across to the beach, facing out to the Bay of Bengal, where we swam, and hunted for pippies in the sand, and - amazingly - helped a group of local traditional fishermen drag in their fishing nets. This alone made the basic accommodation worthwhile. Would I stay here again? Probably yes even if just for the eco adventure!
Perhaps more up-front information in the description of the room: there are no fans, no air conditioning in the main hut, and all beds are in the same room. Showers were cold, and the wifi was at best intermittent (it was just a 4G repeater)
