We loved the lobby as there was an option to buy food and drinks and check in was super easy!
The loft in the room was cute but since my husband is tall he kept banging his head on the bottom part.

Location Location Location:
Otsuka is relatively quiet neighborhood and this hotel is practically across the street from the Otsuka Yamanote train stop. The Otsuka stop is very easy to use, within a few minutes of leaving the hotel, you will be on the JR train to any popular attraction in Tokyo. There is a Family Mart across the street and a large 7-11 a block away. The staff are super nice and helpful, and the whole hotel has Ikea modern vibe. There are a number of small eateries including a local sushi place where locals lined up for. We got a room for 3 that included a twin futon up some stairs bunk bed style, and a third bed underneath which is converted from the sofa (if you pay for 3 people, you are allowed to use the sofa as a bed using provided bed covering). The room isn't large by Western standards. I did bump my head often while using the sofa bed because you are sleeping under the other two beds. But everything was clean and simple.
The hotel organizes private walking tours of the area which may be a good way to familiarize with the area.
We enjoyed this hotel and would stay here again if we every come back. The location is perfect.
the bunk bed arrangement is cute but I did bump my head often using the lower bed. It was a wee bit small if you compare to any Western style room

Fantastic location—two minutes away from a train station on a very convenient line. Good price. Great, big workspace in the lobby. Quiet and very friendly staff.
The loft beds are cute in theory but can feel cramped. Laundry dryers are pretty slow, and there are only two,so the waits can be long. And while the workspace is great, there aren’t outlets.
