I really loved the value, 10 minute walk to the main Ikebukuro entertainment area and train station. The accommodations is quite large for Japanese standards, including a large comfy bed. Water pressure in the showers and sinks was strong.
Towels to dry one off of a shower are small and thin. If you can pack a nice towel for drying, definitely do so. Also I recommend not following Google Maps advice of getting off at Otsuki Station and instead get off at the next station of Ikebukuro so you don't have to subject yourself to many minutes of uphill walking.

Very comfortable beds, great location, we arrived very early and we were allowed to check in much earlier than the usual time. Just loved the accommodation.

Lovely and kind staff. Great location for a slightly quieter version of Tokyo. Clean, accessible, and affordable.
The room for three could benefit from a third blanket.

There was no breakfast at this location. The staff was rude not letting us see the facility until we paid the 3,200 yens which is about $22.00 dollars in cash. Which they already had $650.00 u.s. dollars paid in-advance before we got to Tokyo. It was a unbelievable experience for check-in we will NOT BE RETURNING.
