The room was comfortable, bed was lovely. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating.

We hadn't understood the checking -in arrangements, which were in another building. The car parking arrangements weren't very clear either. The view from the room was a bit disappointing, I had understood no rooms had a sea view, but in the end our view was a car park and some of the old buildings which were lovely, the car park less so. Breakfast took forever, and arrived lukewarm.

Stylish and well thought out. Two fans and a beautiful bathroom. Location allowed for lovely walks and lots to see. Breakfast was fabulous.

We loved everything about staying and dining here. The setting is first class. We were often thinking about the Merchant navy ships coming in and out. Great place for history and pleasure.
