Fantastic Location and charming character due it its age and history. The staff were incredibility helpful and friendly. Both the dinner and breakfast hit the spot. Highly recommend if your after a quality & quiet getaway.

The location at the end of our walk on the South West Coast Path was excellent. The twin room beautiful and comfortable. Lovely to be able to eat at the location too. Enjoyed the views across to Plymouth and watching the activity on the river.
Felt that it was an average pub and didn't merit the price paid. I feel that breakfast could have been better. Especially for those not wanting a cooked breakfast. Maybe fresh croissants, compot, natural yoghurt

Perfect location and comfortable bed
The breakfast was disappointing, they ran out of hash browns and it took half an hour to bring more out

close to ferry
we felt like we were the only guests there, food was limited and everything closed early - no atmosphere , would not return
