Great location beside the beach and some nice restaurants , helpful and friendly staff. Clean and tidy public areas
Tiny, very shallow (120cm) pool, bathroom functional but not 4 star, hot food options in the main restaurant were poor during lunch and dinner

Location of hotel. Friendly staff. Large room and bathroom. Close to beach and Cami de Ronda. Restaurants and bars nearby. Sea view and balcony.
Too many dogs in the hotel, some left in their rooms by the owners. We were woken up early once or twice by yapping dogs along the corridor. Immediately outside the hotel there was dog poo. There should be certain rooms available for dogs, not every room in the hotel.

Nice service, big choice of food at breakfast, overall well taken care of, pleasant pool area.
Our room had some machinery humming at equal intervals behind the walls (not the airco but something else). Airco could be more powerful, at heatwave temperatures it lacked a bit of capacity. Unfortunately, though it is NOT this hotel's fault, a few hundrer meters away towards the centre of Platja de Sant Pol beach there was a huge pool of... very stinky wastewater right on the beach. The town should look after the sewage system...... it is a question of hygiene as well.

The hotel has nice interiors and is clean for the most part. On our first night when turning on the AC black debris fell from the unit onto of the beds. Other than that, generally the hotel was very clean. The staff are excellent. They were friendly and happy to help with any requests we had. The bar food was lovely but we didn't try the breakfast or buffet dinner, just wasn't inspiring when there are many gorgeous restaurants down on the beach. The location is fantastic and views from the balcony are definitely worth getting a sea view room for.
Unfortunately the pool area was under construction when we visited (early May). As a result there was near constant construction noise and obviously no pool or terrace for sun bathing. This was extremely disappointing to learn when we arrived at the hotel since this was a large reason why we chose the hotel in the first place. We would have appreciated at the very least a heads up but felt quite blindsided to have not been informed. We informed the staff of our disappointment and they were very receptive of our feelings. Of course, it is not the staffs fault so they did their best to make us feel better. They moved us from the second floor to the top floor to minimise noise and we were given a choice of dinner or free drinks in the bar. I would definitely come back here again, but would make sure the pool is up and running as I'm sure when it's not under construction it would be fantastic.
