Dinners were amazing! We left windows opened one night and had lots of small bugs that bit like mosquitoes! Otherwise, staff and food were 100%! Great location as well!!
Flying bugs that bite like mosquitoes! Don’t open windows! That was our mistake! No screens!!

Will seriously consider on future trips rather than San Marco side of canal. Great quite location. Convenient location for public water bus and San Basilio. Air conditioning was welcome! Garden restaurant was great.

Location was great, quiet but close to the transport links and nice cafes and restaurants
There was funny sound from the sewage when the water was used in the bathroom, but we learnt to live with it :) I respect the age of the building and accept those things can happen in old Venice 😀

Location was great! Elizabeth was extremely helpful when our A/C quit working. There was plenty of space for 3 adults living for a few nights out of large suitcases. If we had been staying longer, there was abundant storage for our clothes.
It was challenging to get our luggage up the stairs. When our A/C quit working in the middle of the night, I messaged (I did not expect an answer until the next day of course) they answered that we should turn it on. Luckily before they responded, the woman making up the rooms (Elizabeth) helped us out.
