Spoilt Holiday

We hated the place.Were greatly disappointed.Spoilt our holiday.Small dirty room.No space to put luggages.Two beds but only one bedside table with a lamp shade that was all creased.Broken bed headrest.Dirty headrest and windows.Room not cleaned before and while we were at the so called hotel.Bin found full of rubbish from previous guests.Wobbly wardrobe with sockets hidden behind it and on its side.No AC.Given two small fans that were not enough for the warm weather we encountered.No kettle.Dirty toilet and washbasin.Mouldy wall tiles including shower.Shower closure dirty and mouldy.Behind washbasin pedestal very dirty.Wall grid heater dirty and rusty.Reported to reception (possibly the owner) to change our room but replied that they are full.We remarked that the room is dirty and still he didn't take notice. This place is a disaster and I am also angry against booking.com who seem that they do not monitor accommodations they advertise .Action has to be taken immediately.I do not believe that previous guests did not report a bad review about this place.

Terrible, just pleased it was only 1 night

Didn’t have breakfast . The location was good. The sheets and towels were clean.

Curtains didn’t fit the window, so as soon as it light, it woke us up. Smelt damp as room was in basement. Bathroom damp and all grout and corners of tiles on floor black with mould, needs a good bleach and damp sorting out. Not enough ventilation, that’s why it’s damp. Radiator all rusted, needs painting or replacing. Just no care with anything… paint from ceiling on finials, paint from walls on curtain pole brackets and on bed head and bed base, skirting boards dirty and wardrobe doesn’t even have any hangers in it… so what use is that! Only lamp is perched on top of wardrobe, again what use is that. These hotel owners obviously have no idea what they’re doing, they’re just after a quick buck. Also Noisy in the morning, banging outside, under our windows. Don’t stay here it’s terrible!!!!

I’d definitely return and stay again

the property was easy to reach and central in Bow. the bedrooms though ‘basic’ were good value for money and had what was needed

the communal kitchen was messy and we had food taken by others, but these were not issues with the hotel but an other guest(s) not tidying up or washing dishes etc.

Disappointing

The bed was comfortable. It was nice to have milk and bread and other groceries in the kitchen for breakfast.

The bathroom was unhygienic. The weird blue carpet was full of stains. There was hair in the shower drain. In our room, the shower head can't be taken down or moved. There was barely any room to move. There was nothing to hold the soap. In the kitchen we could only use the fridge and microwave. No 'heavy' cooking allowed.

Suitable for groups of young people who are not afraid to save

Very cheap price, a kitchen included in some of the rooms and the hosts were nice. also the beds were very comfortable

the location is not near to any tourists location (but near to the tube), the cleaning level was low. also a lot of stairs to climb .

Its next to a busy road. No sound proofing. Its like sleeping on the street. Couldn't sleep a bit.

Relaxing and warm

It was ok fir a quick stay

The fact that i asked for extra pillows and was told did not have any as busy weekend I left early as had to go to work my partner stayed on in the room was not even check out time and someone from reception banged on door asking partner to leave before check out not very appropriate.

Birthday weekend family trip...

We loved the price and location as it was right next to bow church station. Staff was nice and helpful.

The decor needs upgrading. Not being able to access wifi and room safety needs upgrading doors very flimsy.

The staff had very kindly heated the room up by putting the radiator on for when I arrived, however, this made the room very hot and uncomfortable upon arrival.

Very good

The facilities were great such as the local shops being so nearby the main area and bow dlr being right next door has helped a lot getting to places made travelling easy. Provided us with a fan in the room which is handy as our room was on the top so on hotter days the room tended to be quit hot and stuffy and leaving the window open doesn’t help as flies would come in. Had en suite and it was clean and provided us with amenities with it too such as soap and especially the hand wash and tissue rolls to last us the days we stayed without asking the staff too much. Kitchen ease of use mostly open 24/7 we could sit down and eat on the dining table and chairs there’s an ironing board so we could iron our clothes tv too and a sofa to hang out. Lovely atmosphere. Room was stuffy and hot everytime we entered but the fan helped alot. Had a closet to store our day clothes with our own hangers. Hooks behind the doors so we could hang towels and our necessities. 2 chairs for us both me and my husband and a table to set our things on and most of all a fridge which we were most happy about!!!!!! Most places don’t provide a fridge so this was definitely a pro on our list as we would buy alot of water and want it chilled specially in a hot environment.

Room was really dusty so if food is left unsupervised dust falls easily from the ceiling and I’d find hairs and dust inside my drinks I left for 5 minutes. Small crawlers in the room but wasn’t a big nuisance. Tv definitely small size of a monitor sometimes didn’t work so we just watched things on our phone mainly Netflix. Wifi was free so definitely a pro.
