Location and staff. It seemed the quieter end so ambience and noise levels were good
No hot water on occasions and bathrooms are very basic. Not much storage for clothes

I could not recommend Thai Kamala Beachfront more. The rooms are clean, the air con excellent, and the proximity to the beach is fantastic. My partner and I had a wonderful stay here, waking up each morning to the sound of waves. The staff deserve a special acknowledgment for their competence, kindness, and care. In particular, a receptionist (I believe called Yui) was a huge help to us and responded swiftly to any query or concern. The housekeeping staff were also wonderful, not to mention the adorable on-site cat and its many admirers on the bar staff team. The laundry service was excellent too, and very necessary given the hot and humid season we travelled in! Overall, I would give Thai Kamala 5 stars and would be happy to recommend it to any friends visiting the area in future.

The view from our balcony was amazing. Waking up to seeing the water every morning was just what we needed. The room at everything we needed nothing exceptional but if you made up for it

The beach was absolutely filthy - the part which faces this hotel....on the other side of the creek, the beach was beautiful and clean.
