The apartment we had was comfortable and clean, and had everything we needed, including kitchen. We also loved the location in Coelho street - the old part of Coimbra that is less touristy, but still very close to everything we wanted to see.
This apartment is up a lot of stairs, ok for fit people. :)

Central location- easy to find- very safe area. Huge lounge and seating area, lively balcony views, kitchen to cook and store food.
No toilet paper in any of the bathrooms/washrooms. Construction work on one entire side of the building- you will be worked up at 7am! No hooks in the room to hang things

The price and that you do not have to go through a reseption every time you go in and out, witch give you a kind of privacy.
Nothing

Difficult to find if not provided with the picture. Difficult getting in and out of the door and only saw the greeter once. Other pilgrims had toilet paper in their rooms but I don’t get that amenity. Youth in the hostel were a bit loud late. Can’t vouch for the other ratings that led me here. Had to leave an extra euro for a special tasa or fee? Not sure.
