The property was very clean. It had everything we needed for a carefree holiday. The entry/exit process was seamless. Will book again.

This property is in a nice part of town. It felt safe and comfortable. It was the hottest part of summer and frankly, we never got the hang of when to open the doors and windows, and when to run the AC units. Bathrooms are both on the top floor which is annoying but doable. The trains and planes are loud occasionally but no big deal. Walking to the restaurants and the water was easy and nice. Walking to the grocery store is possible but may not be recommended based on a large and slightly confusing intersection you would need to walk through. Driving in and out of the Vancouver area was easy most of the time. Driving in and out of the Portland area was difficult with lots of traffic most of the time. Overall, it’s a nice property in a good location. Great jumping off point for sightseeing, etc.

We met our daughter and fiancé that flew in from Honolulu to celebrate the new year. We’d never been to Vancouver and the location was perfect for getting around. Loved being able to walk to the local restaurants. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and having fires in the fireplace while watching movies. Beds were comfy and it was also great to have a washer and dryer in the house. The train noise didn’t bother us at all but the airplane traffic later than midnight and so early in the morning was a bit alarming. It would have been nice to have a half bathroom either next to entry or at least on the main floor. I’m 67 and had knee replacement. The stairs were ok but I wouldn’t recommend it to someone that can’t physically do a lot of step climbing. For us….we would definitely come back as long as I’m able. Loved our stay

We were in Vancouver from AZ visiting for the week of Thanksgiving, we used to live in the area and are familiar with the good and bad areas of Vancouver. This is in a very good area. There are train tracks right across the street from the front entrance, as well as the unit is in the direct flight path of the Portland Airport. I personally love watching trains and planes so this did not bother us at all, and the owner does make it very clear there are planes and trains nearby. The cleanliness of the place was pretty good. The office down on the bottom floor was pretty dusty but it was obviously just not used regularly , it felt like maybe it was just overlooked by the cleaning people, due to not being used but things get dusty so probably my they should just try to keep it dusted more. It was very useable and we did like that it had the office, I worked part of the time I was there and it worked just fine for my needs. One thing that we did not expect was how cold the condo was. Granted it was cold outside and I’m from Vancouver, I know what this time of year is like there but to actually get the condo warm enough to not have to bundle up in hoodies and socks/ blankets, took 2 days of running the heat. Like on high. Obviously we didn’t keep it up on high when we left the unit but for the most part the heat was running non stop and still was very very cold inside the home. We ended up closing the bedrooms and running the heat in the rooms a couple hours before we went to bed and it was better. The furniture was old but again, it worked fine. We felt that the condo was great for our needs and I would stay there again just maybe not when it’s so cold outside. The directions to the condo are hard to give others when using google maps etc simply because it takes you a block down from the unit. The owner did explain this from the get go in her check in instructions so was not a surprise to us. And also not a big deal. Also please note - we had issues using the code for the trash area, we didn’t realize this til the morning we were checking out but we had to go back to get the actual trash fob thing. Because we were on the way to the airport at 530am it was stressful having to go back to get the sensor fob, then put the trash in the trash area/compactor and take the fob back to the unit. So if going to put trash in the trash area be sure you take the actual fob/sensor thing. All in all, I give it 4/5 stars. Hope this helps! :)
