Situated in Key Colony Beach, this lovely house for $320 per night is a great option for your next vacation. 4 bedroom, 2 bath pool home off the open waters of the Gulf. 110' dock with 6' draft. Great fishing and lobstering due to open, free flowing water. Screened porch with 2 tables, fan and light. Florida room with second dining room table and pull out couch. Kitchen has granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Second refrigerator in laundry room for bait and fresh catch. WiFi password Vaca425121. One queen bed in 2 bedrooms, one full bed in a bedroom and 2 twins in the fourth bedroom. House is one story and has a carport. Parking for 3 cars and one trailer. Rates quoted are for a maximum 8 guests/occupants. Any additional guests/visitors must be disclosed and will be considered. Lessee must be 27 years old. One pet permitted under 50 pounds. All pet hair and pet waste must removed. Pet must be crated when left alone on property. Boat available for rent: 26' Bluewater Center Console 300 Suzuki 4 stroke. Wifi password Vaca425121

Very old run down place. Pier is in need of overhaul. Wasn’t safe to even walk on. When the current ran the whole pier shakes. The inside of the house looked like it was never cleaned before we got there.
Dishwasher doesn’t work and the refrigerator and microwave are disgusting
How this place has a 4+ rating is a mystery.

2nd stay at this location. First was in 2021. Incredible location on the Vaca cut. We had a 26’ boat and the dock handled it in every tide cycle. No problem. Abundant sea life all times of day around the dock. Manatees daily, rays, sharks, tarpon, and lots of lobster at night. We were a party of 10 so, the house was a little tight at times. We spent most of our time outdoors so it wasn’t a big problem. Everything you’ll need is close by. Bait shop within walking distance just up the street. Gas, groceries, restaurants, ice all 10 minutes or less. Owner is extremely communicative and accommodating. Marathon is beautiful. Great stay!

Great little place. Looooved the dock. Spent most of my time with a line in the water. Kids loved swimming and playing in the splash pool and the ocean right off the dock. The location was perfect. Middle of there keys with lots to do in either direction.

4 retired guys flew down to warm weather. We fished. We walked around Key West. We golfed. We relaxed. Nice time.

Residing on the channel, this place had everything that we wanted. Spacious living areas, screened porch, waterside deck and a small pool to lounge in and complimentary Wi-Fi made the stay wonderful. We will definitely be returning.

Location was great. House was not very clean at all and beds were very uncomfortable. I think that a newspaper would make a better pillow. For the price it really was not worth it in my opinion. Pay a professional cleaning company or something.

If you want low water pressure in the shower, book this house. House needs updating!!! View was very nice.

The housekeeping was fine. The pool was not serviced and not cleaned. And when the owner responds with an excuse too this reciew, I will be glad too screen shot what I sent, with No Response from her. That was dissapointing.
To summarize, the house was ok, if your looking for the "WoW", this is not your place. If your lookking for your grandmothers, this is it....good luck

Beautiful location.
Beautiful location and very good accommodations. Property was everything the listing said. Because of the property location on the cut, we were able to view an adundant amount of sea life both day and night. Sharks, tarpon, manatees and dozens of lobster. We caught and ate a variety of fish off the property’s dock all week long. As soon as we can nail down dates for everyone, we’re ready to book for next year. Many thanks to the property owners and Vrbo.

Really enjoyed our stay, fishing was primary activity. Dock and location were great, easy docking and exiting, close to both the Gulf and the Atlantic. House and pool were very pleasant with many restaurants close by.

I chose the location as I am an avid fisherman no longer able to boat. The house was situated perfectly with the dock just shy of the main channel. Excellent fishing and entertainment with all the boats coming in and out. Overall the unit fit our needs well. We caught several varieties of fish and saw many tarpon migrating to Boca. Had a blast.

The property could use some exterior maintenance the sliding glass door that’s silver didn’t lock, parts of the deck are in need of replacing , we had to fill the pool each day w water (it lost approximately a foot of water a day), grill we never used it as it had no bottom catch tray left. Beds were very comfortable we had plenty of pillows and linens . There were only 1/2 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom so we had to purchase more . We would stay again just think a little TLC is required!

Ive never left a bad review in all 27 of my rental stays. But, please DO NOT waste your money renting from this women! Her neighbors HATE her and attest shes a slum lord. We weren't allowed to check in on time as the owner was not able secure a cleaning lady to clean by the agreed upon check-in. When we arrived I immediately sent pictures of the back screened porch screens being torn down, the pool was filthy, & the cracked tiles at the entry way. So we would not be held accountable for the damages. We had to deal with contractors coming with random other people twice. Once we were told he would be there by 2 we waited all day left @3 and he came tore the screens out completely. Leaving the screened in porch open to bugs and no idea of when this would be fixed. He showed up 2 days later with another person unannounced ( we were heading out the door to the beach) to fix the screen, so we waited over an hr for him to fix it and leave. When i let the owner know about the roach and rat problem she offered to send an exterminator into the rental while we were gone. I explained i had wasted enough time with her contractors and would not be wasting more time. That these issues should have been handled prior to the rental being made available and taking the full amount. I requested a week in the future when the property would be available as advertised or half of our money back as the rental was not as described and not worth the amount she was requesting. She blamed me! I have taken pictures of the layer of dust on all the furniture, the very old and rotted back deck that goes over broken concrete and rocks, the rat droppings in the guest bedrooms laundry room and kitchen counter. Please head my warning!! The fishing was not good either as the wind was 15-20mph during our week stay and the current didnt allow good fishing no matter what we tried. Please if you have stumbled across this rental as a last resort as we did GO STAY AT THE MOTELS!!!! You will save your hard earned money and have a better stay.
