Excelente localização, comida excelente, funcionarios muito eficientes.

Localização excelente. Funcionários atenciosos e eficientes. Ofereceram bem mais do que eu esperava. A comida do restaurante anexo ao hotel é maravilhosa. Eu recomendo esse hotel com certeza

Angenehme Aufenthaltsoption für kurze Aufenthalte.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, wir konnten zu Fuß in die Innenstadt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Frühstück angenehm im Restaurant neben dem Hotel. Alles war sauber.

Wir hatten leider keine ausreichende Ablage- und Aufhängemöglichkeiten für unsere Kleidung.

Make sure you don’t book a so called superior room!

The pool was good as was the restaurant where we had breakfast. The second room we had was spacious with a garden feature.

The superior room with a balcony was right above the restaurant and music could be heard. This room was tiny and very old. I told reception and the next day we were thankfully offered another room which was quiet, had a sofa and garden feature. From the worst room we have had to the best room. The superior room should definitely NOT be called that as it is a terrible room.

Música muy alta en el restaurante de abajo, nos tuvimos que quejar en recepción

El desayuno maravilloso y la ubicación es estupenda, también tiene una piscinita que está muy bien.

El hotel está muy bien pero era Sábado y nos dieron habitaciones en las que se escuchaba mucho la música del restaurante de abajo, no sé si nos coincidió o es lo habitual, la bajaron un poco pero nos invitaron a irnos devolviendonos el dinero, era de noche y bastante tarde, por lo que nos quedamos, no estuvo bien por su parte

Breakfast was amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful. pool was nice. towels provied

Rooms are very dated, washrooms need update for certain. Walls very thin and no quiet time policy enforcement (was very loud late into the night).

Exceptional

The location is perfect, since it is only a three minute walk away from the central park, but far away to have quiet nights. The breakfast is really good, especially the avocado emparedado, I highly reccommend it!

Worried at first, ended up being amazing!!

Amanda and Fernanda at the front desk made our stay here amazing. These ladies were so helpful and friendly, we couldn’t have asked for more! Joseph was also very accommodating. Also, the Fabian and Carlos at the Open Kitchen (where free breakfast is, SO DELICIOUS) were a fresh of breath air.

We showed up and the a/c wasn’t working. The staff was very accommodating and moved us to another room. We travel with our 17 month old baby and were worried about his safety but with the staff’s help we felt safe and secure. All was well worth it in the end.

Nice place to explore La Fortuna

Very good located, close to a lot of restaurants and supermarkets. The breakfast was very delicious and we could choose every day between several dishes. The staff was very friendly.

There aren’t a lot of sunbeds and especially there are no parasols at all.

Very good location. Very good breakfast. Dinner was also delicious. Small but beautiful pool. Very central location but in a quiet area.

It could be better equipped. Even no table in the room.

Great location, walking distance to town, shops & restaurants. Staff very friendly. Restaurant was delicious, and the breakfast was included. Would stay again.

Only a couple of parking spaces, other than that, nothing bad to say.

Hidden Gem

The staff is amazing. Fernanda and Valentina go out if there way to make you feel at home. Very clean and great location near the main street. The breakfast was delicious. The restaurant is not part of Hotel but offered great value. Would definitely recommend and will return.

The Restaurant staff could be a little friendlier and patient when dealing with large groups. Has nothing to do with Hotel but could learn a lot from the Hotel staff on customer service.

Perfect start to our trip

Staff were friendly and helpful, great restaurant including good vegan options, nice little pool area, perfect location if you want to be close to restaurants, bars and shops.

Superb

The staff were really helpful and friendly. Comfortable bed. Good shower temp. And pressure. Nice pool and coworking space.

My only issue (which isnt the fault of the hotel) was the building work outside my room which started early and meant that it wasnt as nice to use the balcony.

Terrible hotel! Will not stay or recommend .. look for other better options in La Fortuna

Location was the only good thing of this hotel.

This hotel has the worst toilets in the world. The toilet in our room would not flush. It was the most unpleasant and embarrassing experience to call the maintenance repeatedly to fix the toilet. The walls of the room are paper thin. We could hear the tv of the next room. The wifi was terrible. The room description on Booking.com said Arenal volcano view but there was no view from our room as it looked into the passage outside. For breakfast, there really are no spread as it is meant to sound in the description.. you actually have to choose only 1 item from a choice of 5. Misleading again!

Perfecr location for foodies and outstanding service from the staff

The staff communicated promptly through WhatsApp and I had a room ready upon arrival. They helped me coordinate with the restaurant to have my breakfast to go for my excursions. the breakfasts were delicious and nutritious. the staff was kind and helpful. they changed a lightbulb immediately when I notified them. the hotel is right in the Center of the town, near their Central Park, delicious restaurants and all stores. very easy to go anywhere you want. it was an amazing value for al the benefits of this hotel, and I highly recommend it for the friendly staff and location.

while it is in a very central location, the rooms that are facing the outside get a lot of noise from the street and traffic and all times, even at night. The rooms are not soundproof and if you are a light sleeper like me, your neighbours might wake you up.

Everything! Super helpful staff, attentive, excellent English. Tasty breakfast, nice pool, daily housekeeping, very clean, aircon, TV, location 5 mins to town, gorgeous view of volcano from hotel, looked after garden, value for money. Best hotel we stayed at during our 2 weeks in Costa Rica for our mid range budget.

Fantastic family experience!

Roberto and Fernanda were super friendly and helpful. They went out of their way when my son felt sick and Roberto went beyond the extra mile when he changed my flat tire so we could get to our next destination without delay! Clean, centrally located. Walk to town but off the main road so quiet at night. Great breakfast, hot shower! Highly recommend to stay here while in La Fortuna.

Best hotel ever. It's a small hotel, so the service is impeccable and personalized. The owner Roberto helped us lots of times with transportation, organization and the staff is just as nice! They really want you to enjoy your stay at the hotel and in Costa Rica.
