The accommodation is small self contained "flats" in a gated complex, each with allocated seating outside, some more private than others. Cooking facilities were OK (hob and limited equipment) and room was lovely.
Pool views are amazing and the pool bar attendant was super friendly and always there, rain or shine.
The breafast room location has stunning views. Reception were very helpful and friendly.
Parking is available for a fee and limited so book it - if you have a car, parking in Taormina is your main concern.
If you are OK with steps, beaches are close, thought like most of Sicily, only small sections are available for free
Breakfast wasn't amazing, but it's an additional option, so make your own mind up. Try it once for the view at least!
Messaging via booking.com didn't seem to work for us to book the parking, but by phone it was all fine.

The pool area is very nice, plenty of loungers, bar, limited on food and drinks but welcome. Fantastic views. Our bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space in the room.
Pool loungers were uncomfortable. The only extras in the kitchen was a small sponge and washing liquid, nothing else, salt, pepper, oil, cloth to wipe the tops. The bathroom had 2 small bottles of body wash. It was very basic, not even a sharp knife. The room was not cleaned for our 8 night stay, no bed change, however our towels were changed twice and the rubbish was taken. A trip to the shops for a few things solved most issues. Don't be put off by these comments, the place is lovely.

A splendid location with beautiful views, a great pool with gardens, and a nice breakfast in a lovely cafe setting with indoor and outdoor seating.

The swimming pool is great, the bartender there is a nice guy.
On the first night our room (and the adjecent room) didn’t have electricity (while the other rooms of the hotel had so it wasn’t a breakdown affecting the whole area) which gave us the chance to experience the life of medieval Taorminians, except that we used our iPhones’ flash instead of candles. There was nobody at the reception after 8pm, and they haven’t reacted ever to our texts sent to the numbers associated with the hotel. When we brought up the topic regarding of the electrical deficit of last night the next morning, we got a plain “thanks for letting me know” and “sorry” twice, while they had plenty of options to make it a bit better.
