A perfectly located cottage in coastal north of Isle of Skye. The cottage had great living room with view of coastal inlet, the bedrooms were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything needed and kitchen table for dinner, which not all places have. The neighborhood area and road is quiet and beautiful.
It was pricey, but maybe we did not know the pricing rates, the internet was not the strongest.

We travelled all over Scotland, staying in some wonderful places, but Tigh Nah Fraoch was without a doubt our favourite. I genuinely fell in love with this place.
The location is simply stunning. The views are incredibly beautiful and very hard to beat — surrounded by the wild beauty of the Isle of Skye, with peace and quiet all around you. And the sunsets are to die for. Sitting there watching the landscape change with the evening light was one of the highlights of our entire trip.
The chalet itself is fantastic: super clean, beautifully looked after and incredibly comfortable. The beds were excellent, and the kitchen was large and so well equipped that it really felt like a home from home. Having such a good washing machine and dryer was also hugely appreciated during a road trip around Scotland!
What really struck us was the care that had gone into everything. When we arrived, the host had made sure the house was already warm, cosy and welcoming, which was such a thoughtful touch.
It’s that perfect combination: all the comforts of home, but in a location that is anything but ordinary. Peaceful, comfortable, surrounded by beauty and with unforgettable views.
If we return to Skye, I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. Absolutely incredible.
