Perfect spot to stay when visiting Olympia.

The guesthouse is a perfect place to stay to visit Olympia. One street up from the downtown center it provides an oasis of quiet but still just a three minute walk to restaurants, shops and all you need. Additionally, all the sites are within an easy walk so park the car in safe and accessible spots right in front of the hotel and you don’t need to bother with it again until you leave. A lovely breakfast every morning to start the day and you must try the very special hand crafted cocktails created with care at the bar. Some of the best drinks we’ve ever had. Great Wi-Fi. Overall a perfect experience.

最高のオリンピア観光の拠点。

オリンピア観光ではほとんど知られていない施設でした。しかし、古代オリンピック遺跡群の観光を考える場合、オリンピアの街中でも、遺跡群に最も近くに位置していました。ホテルから遺跡群まで徒歩１５分。さらに、アテネからオリンピアにはバスによる移動手段しかなく、中継便を使いアテネから６時間以上掛かります。このオリンピアのバス停まで１ブロックのところに本ホテルはあり、荷物を持っての移動が楽だった。「地球の歩き方」記載のオリンピアのバス停が変更されており、同誌の旧バス停側は遺跡の反対側にあり、宿泊施設は市内全域に散っている為、同誌の情報は２０２４年時点では古く、新たな情報に早く変更されることが必要だった。このホテルは、外国人観光客ではなく、ギリシャ人とその家族が使用している。３月の旅行では外国人は私一人であった。オリンピック研究を長年大学でしているが、オリンピック遺跡群を隈なく歩き回り、見学を希望する人には最適なホテルである。朝食も良く、食堂も清潔、３名の従業員も礼儀正しく、全員が英語が堪能であった。街に面したベランダ付４室も良いが、反対側山向きの部屋は広く12畳ぐらいあり、大変静か。外国人観光客もいない為、静かに心休まる滞在が可能だった。ホテルの隣は警察署。その隣は最高に旨いギリシャ料理屋であった。

Jederzeit zu empfehlen.

Der Gastgeber war überaus herzlich und in allen Belangen jederzeit hilfsbereit. Man konnte sich in alle Situationen an ihn wenden und er hat immer geholfen. Das gibt einem ein sehr sicheres Gefühl. Wir baten um das Frühstück wegen unseres Fluges um eine halbe Stunde früher und es war dann sogar eine dreiviertel Stunde früher angerichtet. Großartiger Service!

Très bon rapport qualité prix

Chambre spacieuse et confortable avec un décor simple mais original. Hôtel parfaitement placé pour visiter le site archéologique d'Olympie et les musées ainsi que pour aller manger car tout peut se faire à pieds. Nous avons profité d'un parking gratuit juste devant l'hôtel. Il n'y avait pas de piscine mais nous avons pu profiter de la plage à Zacharo à 30mns et d'un magnifique coucher de soleil.

L'aménagement du placard est très basique et la mise en place d'un rideau permettrait de cacher l'intérieur. Au niveau de la douche l'eau a tendance à s'échapper et aller dans la chambre, un rebord pourrait limiter ce débordement.

Gerne komme ich wieder

Topp Lage, um die archäologischen Stätten und das Museum zu besuchen. Zur Unterkunft gehörende Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus. Super sympathischer Gastgeber. Nettes Ambiente des Frühstücksraums und auf meiner nun fast einmonatigen Reise eines der besseren Frühstücke. Ich würde auf jeden Fall nochmal hier wohnen.

Parfait pour visiter Olympie.

Charmant hôtel très central dans Olympie et à 2 pas du site archéologique. Damiano le propriétaire ne sait pas quoi faire pour nous faire plaisir et la taverne voisine qu’il nous a indiquée était formidable. Le rapport qualité prix est excellent. À recommander.

Fantastic stay

The whole guest house was modern and a clean and the location was perfect for visiting the ancient olympia site. Damiano who runs the hotel was excellent, he was very informative and took the time to help us with lots of recommendations with our itinerary, made us some fantastic cocktails and we really enjoyed breakfast. He recommended a fantastic restaurant for us to eat at in the evening. He even gave us a number to call to help with any questions we may have for the rest of our trip. Overall a fantastic stay and we would thoroughly recommend.

Soggiorno perfetto a Olympia

Posizione perfetta, zona tranquilla con abbondanza di posti per parcheggiare, tre minuti a piedi dal sito archeologico/musei. Assolutamente un posto meraviglioso, ampia sala colazione/bar al piano terra, camere ai piani superiori molto ben arredate e comode. La struttura è praticamente nuovissima, il proprietario è una persona estremamente simpatica e alla mano, ottimo barman. Colazione molto abbondante e soddisfacente, a pochi passi da ottimi ristoranti per pranzo/cena (chiedete consiglio al gestore!) consigliatissimo!

Très bien situé pour visiter Olympie!

Nous avons apprécié les conseils donnés , la place de parking devant l’hôtel et la situation proche du site archéologique.

La chambre est un peu spartiate mais nous avons bien dormi.

Rapport qualité/prix/sympathie imbattables

Tout d'abord Damiano est une personne avec qui dès les premiers échanges, on sent qu'on a à faire a un personnage! Sympathique, du bagout, de l'humour, façonne d'excellents cocktails!! Quand en plus il vous emmène dans la "infinty suite" et son immense terrasse roof top... c'est l'apothéose ! Bref, le rapport qualité, prix, sympathie est incroyable !!

Vraiment,? ... je ne vois pas !! Un jacuzzi sur le roof top s'eut été abusé !

Brilliant location and very helpful staff

Clean, simple & spacious room. Very comfy bed. Little balcony. Fantastic location for getting to all nuseums & sites of Olympia. Excellent restaurant almost next door. Shopping area was the next street down. Staff were lovely

One of the little outdoor chairs was broken. Had to be careful the shower didn't wet all the bathroom floor

Buen sitio donde alojarse en Olimpia

La ubicación es fantástica, a 3 minutos andando de Olímpia. Además, está rodeado de sitios donde se puede comer e incluso tomar una copa por la noche. Damiano, el dueño es muy dicharachero y te explica muy bien las cosas.

La habitación un poco justa(no de espacios si no de instalaciones), sobretodo el baño. El desayuno, que se hace en la planta baja, que es un espacio muy cómodo y bonito, no es nada del otro mundo pero cumple su función.

Perfect place to stay and chill

Exceptional

The "infinity suite" is splendid! I can't recommend it enough! Multiple doors on to a private and fully furnished private patio, with a superb view of the mountains! And the host, Damiano, is genial and has great recommendations! This is the place to stay in Olympia!! A 6 out of 5 stars!!

I only wish I could have spent more days there!

Very good location, best value for your money

Excellent location, only 10 minutes’ walk the archeological site of Olümpia. The host was very helpful, he informed us about the museums, the archeological site, and recommended an excellent 10 points taverna next to the guest house. It was unmissable, thanks for it. The bathroom was equipped with a perfect shower cabin. Parking is possible directly at the front of the guest house, where the places are dedicated only for the guests. The breakfast is plentiful.

Owner was so nice - best bartender in all of Greece! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The owner went above and beyond! He was absolutely amazing -- highly HIGHLY recommend! We had trouble getting a tour guide sorted out and when he learned the name of the person we were trying to meet, he called her up. He knew her personally (because he knows everyone). He explained that we were running late but to take good care of us. He also referred us to a restaurant that night. Again, a friend of his, then he came by to make sure we found the place and were in good hands. WOW! We've traveled all over the world and rarely see the kindness and care he showed us. TOP NOTCH! Oh, and our favorite drink is a lemon drop which is surprisingly simple so we couldn't understand why we couldn't get one most places in Greece. We asked him to make us one. He listed to our instructions, made one of the best ones I've ever had, then added it to his menu :) You're Welcome!

Comfy family stay at the cente of Olympia

Location, parking, dog friendly, nice personnel, comfy beds (with memory foam pillows) and linen, panoramic view from the apartment at the top. I think it was a very good choice.

Breakfast could have included some omelette, or fried eggs. Coffee could have been better.

We had an aircoproblem and the charismatic host D. came to fix it late in the evening. Great host, good value for money, very good location, free private parking,.... i can recommend this place!

Very nice hotel and so close to the sights

So close to the sights and very helpful owner.

Our AC worked ok but took quite a while for it to get going. We were there in the middle of a massive heat wave though.

Superb

The owner of the hotel was very welcoming. The hotel was clean, comfortable and within walking distance of the main shopping streets, the museums and the main archeological site. The owner recommended a nearby restaurant which turned out to be excellent. Breakfast was a buffet and included in the price. The shower was small but we chose that room vs a different one with a larger shower - it was not an issue for us.
