Position and the outside of the building. Parking was very close and free of charge.
There was no one when we arrived so it was a little difficult to find the entrance but they replied to our messages so in the end it was ok!

Lovely stay in a castle. Room was cozy and clean, and even had a lounge area to sit in next to our room. No other guests during our stay, it was very peaceful. It's extremely close to the cable car and two lovely restaurants we tried. As guests, we were also given free access to the museum inside the castle which we enjoyed visiting. Beware the brown bears if you go out late evening, they seem to come into town once it gets dark to look for food. We saw one during our walk after dinner and had to head straight back to the castle.

The cleanliness the beds the heat in the rooms and the hot water. The microwave we had to boil the water for our tea in it.
The shared kitchen
In the shared kitchen which was spacious it had no kettle to make a cup of tea or no hob or oven . The 42 steps up on a spiral stairs was difficult with cases.
