Vila Șipot - Casa Arhitecților

What an incredible place to stay in Sinaia. Vila Șipot sits right on the Peleș Royal Domain, just a few minutes' walk from Peleș and Pelișor Castles. The restoration is beautifully done — every room has its own distinct character and a fantastic view over the castle grounds. Everything felt clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together, blending old-world charm with modern comfort. At night it's completely peaceful, just the sound of the Peleș stream running alongside the building. The location couldn't be better for exploring Sinaia — castles on your doorstep, good restaurants within walking distance, and free parking on site. The host was warm, helpful, and made check-in effortless. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Peleș who wants somewhere with real character instead of a generic hotel. We'd stay again in a heartbeat.

With so few rooms, it probably books up fast during peak season (especially since it's steps from Peleș Castle).

De ligging . Zo s avonds als het rustig is dicht bij peles castle. S morgens hadden we al een parkeerplek voor ons bezoek terwijl alle andere mensen nog aan het zoeken waren Kamer was comfortabel . Terras erg leuk om te ontspannen met een dranke . 4 restaurants dichtbij voor eten of drank Het ontbijt was ook heel lekker .we kregen s ' morgens het ontbijt menu toegestuurd..

De prijzen in sinaia zijn hoog . Cappecino kost bijvoorbeeld 4 euro .

A living history of a part of the castle. Really comfortable. There is a private terrace only accessible to the hotel guest, great to sit there and enjoy overlooking the castle. While visiting the castle I found a photo of the designer sitting at the terrace. Although the plants and the little table in the original photo were no longer there and but it’s still easy to imagine the time when the designer was staying here, having all his mind on realising the dream house of the king. That special feeling is so much worth the stay.

When you have to hit a code on an electric lock in order to enter the building and there is no staff on site, it's not a hotel, in my view. And because the code box was well away from the door handle and the handle was sticky, I couldn't get in. I had walked a mile and a half up a steep hill to get there. Yikes. Fortunately reception worked, so I was able to WhatsApp the proprietor. Oh, the room was comfortable and well-equipped when I finally got in. And it was very close to the palace, which was, of course, closed that day.

Sinaia is beautiful, and the setting is stunning. Of course, the restaurants nearby had closed by the time I got there, so I went to bed without dinner. Hard to like that.
