The staff at this hotel were all amazing - very kind, caring and professional. Unfortunately I got very sick the day we arrived in Osaka - the staff at reception were wonderful and let us check in early so that I could rest. They also offered to help in other ways and were very thoughtful.
Our room was spacious and clean, with a modern bathroom that was spotless.
Highly recommend this hotel.

So close to the shops
Outside windows not clean
Check-in was a bit annoying when you have the service counter there already just to tell you that the machine is there and eventually needs a human help.

Location is perfect if you are looking to explore Nishiki Market! Lots of fun food around this area and then a close walk to the Kamo River and historical streets. Across the river are great bars and restaurants as well!
The room smelled a little funny, the space was smaller than it appeared when advertised and the breakfast was mediocre.

The central location is great.
We stayed here for 4 nights and found that none of the staff at reception were very friendly or helpful. The check-in process was probably the worst we’ve had in Japan in almost 3 weeks of travel. Breakfast was also pretty basic. The worst thing in terms of customer service was that the staff would not pre-book a taxi for us (when we asked the evening before our departure) and said they’d only call once we were ready to go in the morning and that the wait time could often be 30 minutes.
