The host and staffmember (Asri) was so friendly and kind to us it felt like a home to me. The bed was comfortable and the room was daily cleaned.
Asri adviced us also with everything and was always in for a little chat and a joke. I enjoyed the stay!

The location was perfect. It was 7-8 minutes walk to the ferry port and the main busy street of the east coast of the island with beaches, cafes, restaurants and night life but it was far enough from the hustle and bustle and the noice.
As there are no cars on the island, carrying my large suitcase to the port would be hard but Asri, who was one of the hotel staff, was kind and nice enough to offer taking my suitcase with his electric bicycle and he didn't ask for any money but of course I gave him some tip.
I think the bathroom was quite outdated with cracked tiles. They should renovate the bathroom. But I didn't really care about how the bathroom looks as long as there was hot water. My friends stayed at another hotel and they didn't have hot water in their hotel. Therefore, I appreciated that Hotel Phy Phy had hot water running 24/7.
I think the hotel was a bit overpriced. I had stayed in much nicer hotels in Bali for same or even lower prices. But I think, it may be because the rates at Gili islands are higher in general compared to Bali for some reason.

L’emplacement, la piscine et le propriétaire. Mais la salle de bain et le confort est limité pour le prix.
La salle de bain n’est vraiment pas très propre, quasiment pas d’eau.
