It was incredibly beautiful and felt very authentic with a big dose of luxury. The spa was stunning in a cavern environment. The pool area and outdoor restaurant were well staffed with very friendly and helpful people. Just a magical place to spend a relaxing day in between visiting the stunning towns in the area. The breakfast was lovely with superb coffee on offer. They would pretty much make to anything you could ask for. The restaurant for dinner was first class with very attentive waiters. A point to recommend is the village fest on Thursday nights… it was absolutely fantastic with an array of wonderful food, drinks and entertainments. It’s hard to put into words how very special this hotel is. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

Location was easy to access via car. They organise a shuttle bus to the beach club. Breakfast was very nice and the grounds were beautiful. Children's playground was excellent.
1. Kids Club was closed - we were told it was a summer offering only. Nowhere on their website does it say that the kids club is a summer time only activity. This was one of the major reasons we chose the Masseria and had this was known we wouldn't have stayed.
2. Yoga / Pilates - again this was advertised as being a free daily activity. This was only offered once during our stay and at an additional 25 euro fee.
3. Use of indoor pool only for spa guests - not stated on the website
4. Heated outdoor pool. The pool was freezing and therefore we were unable to swim
5. Their second beach club isn't open until summer. This wasn't stated.
6. Not enough water in the room. For the price of the rooms they should provide free unlimited bottled water. More than one bottle per day.
7. No day trips / experiences were offered.
Finally, overall we were made to feel like our children were a nuisance. This is surprising given how many families stay with them. Half the staff were friendly - the other half had looks on their faces that made us feel unwelcome.
