A hotel with parking in a quiet location—an ideal base for visiting Hamburg. High-standard rooms with all the essentials—including a small fridge, which is a nice touch. Good selection of TV channels. Comfortable beds. Friendly reception staff. Parking is available (for a fee on weekdays). We didn't have breakfast, as it seemed a bit pricey (though the cost was actually low compared to other hotels of this standard in Hamburg). It takes about 30–40 minutes to get to Hamburg city center.
Ground-floor rooms facing the courtyard are close to the parking area; they are better—and more expensive—than those facing the park (though the latter can sometimes be noisy due to children from the nearby school). The shower door opens outward into the bathroom, making it easy to splash water everywhere. Since a tea and coffee set is provided, it would be good to include teaspoons, which were missing here. Note: the key card stops working after the checkout time.

No air conditioning or any sort of ventilation available. Room gets really hot during the day and pretty warm at night even with the windows opened.
