The hotel was very comfortable indeed, living up to its label as "excellent" by the French tourist board. The rooms are modern and well equipped with a/c and quite a spacious shower room. The décor is agreeable (with one wall decorated with birds and nature depictions). The only slight downside is that my room was a little tight : I would have preferred just a bit more space for my stuff and my (large) dog. The WiFi worked well, the breakfast was good and reasonably varied, and they were very welcoming to my pet. Pleasant and efficient owner rounds off the very positive overall impression.
The electric car charging points were both offline : I have learnt in the past not to arrive on an empty 'tank', in case, and so I just - JUST - had enough juice to reach the fast charging point (16km) away on the A31 motorway going north. The hotel is situated alongside a surprisingly busy, and very straight, route départemenale (D974) but inside the buildings one is protected from the whooshing of speeding cars by the excellent soundproofing.
