Comfortable, welcoming, relaxed, stylish
That on the Saturday night there was an event and I didn’t know about and I was unable to eat at the restaurant and had to walk around Exeter on my own for an hour trying to find a place that had space. I ate dinner there every other night of my stay and I would’ve thought someone would’ve mentioned it to me in advance.

Lovely staff and great breakfast . Bed was really comfortable. Perfect location near the station and the cathedral plus all the restaurants and the cinema and shops. Did not realise it was a pub when i booked but that was fine and not noisy. Much better deals through the hotel itself. Definitely would stay again
Room was very small and there was no bath. No dressing gowns or tissues shower caps etc or free bottles of water

Lovely beer garden and nice guy on the bar. Good central location but very noisy.
Dated room and a poor shower but we were only there for a night so not massive deal. Overall had a nice stay but dampened by the very rude “chef” who was very upset that we were vegan and had the audacity to order a veggie breakfast without the egg! Lovely waitress who we ordered with really did try but he was having none of it. Rude and ignorant unfortunately.
