After our first night we were moved to a better room, as a few things in the original one were not in the condition you'd expect from a five-star hotel. The new room was on a higher floor with a lovely view spacious, with a great bed and quality furniture, and in far better shape than the first. Credit to the hotel for sorting it out quickly.
The property itself is large, the elevators are fast, and the reception staff are consistently polite and ready to help. Security is also handled very well. The beach is well maintained with good service.
The pool area is pleasant but needs some attention: several parasols are close to broken, and the surrounding area could use fresh paint and general upkeep. When it gets busy, especially with a lot of children, the pool should be cleaned more frequently.
Breakfast was our biggest disappointment, and honestly the only real negative of the stay. The restaurant is far too small for the number of guests, so every morning there's a queue at the door while you wait for a table to free up. The process is poorly organised and frustrating. We sometimes waited 20 minutes, and on a few days we skipped breakfast entirely because the line was too long. The food variety is well below Hilton standards, the service is slow, the selection is identical every day, and the additional stations aren't always open.
