I had a lovely stay at Hotel Ciao. The staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived, and always happy to help. The location is hard to beat, just a stone's throw from Termini station, which made getting around Rome and arriving or leaving very easy. I'd happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
The one downside was noise. You can clearly hear people walking and talking in the corridor outside the room, and it woke us up most mornings.

The receptionists at Hotel Ciao are nothing short of exceptional - helpful, friendly, accommodating.
Nothing to note

The location was great and easy to get everywhere. The room was big and clean and air-con was great.
Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful (rare for Italy)
The stairs to get up to the room as the hotel actually has 2 buildings, 1 with an elevator and 1 without. Even the 1 with the elevator has a small flight of stairs so no good for wheelchairs. We where in the building without an elevator and the access is through a dark and very deteriorated stairwell which I really needs painting and blighting up. But it was fine and once you enter the floor for the hotel it is new and bright.
