The breakfast buffet was great with a variety of dishes to choose from. The lobby was spacious and comfortable. The front desk staff and bell staff were helpful and professional. I love the bell desk uniform - very traditional and classy.
The location of the hotel was convenient with only a few minutes walk to the station. The shuttle bus was also convenient. I did not dine at the hotel restaurant but my traveling companions did, and they said the food was the best Chinese food they have eaten.
I loved, loved, loved the afternoon tea and the executive lounge. We took advantage of the afternoon tea everyday during our three day stay. We are not drinkers so we did not go to the cocktail hours.
Although the breakfast buffet was great, it would have been better to have one or two different options from the previous day. We stayed three days and the same options were served daily. Also, Nagano is known for their fruit - apples, grapes, etc. but none of the locally produced fruit was available during breakfast. I have stomach issues so cannot eat acidic fruit such as oranges and pineapples, both of which were the only options available at the buffet. Also, I'm not sure if the lounge ran out of apple pie when afternoon tea was served, but the only time I got to eat the apple pie was on my first day. After that, apple pie was not served.

Very good spatious rooms, good facility, friendly staffs, free shuttle bus to send us to the train station after check out. There is a garden before the hotel.

Nice reception area, great breakfast, friendly staff
The room was too small, we booked what was described as a double room but was not, it may have had a double bed but that was all that could fit, never mind trying to get two people plus bags into it, too small to be described as anything other than a single and a small single at that.
